Barlow here again. Just wanted to cover a few things with you humans. It is very important that we have good clean teeth. This can be accomplished by brushing our teeth (yes you can brush a dog's teeth with special "doggy" toothpaste) or giving us bones to chew on. I find that Elk Antlers are one of the best as they don't break and give us a lot of knawing time! I had mom take a picture of me and my pearly whites so you can see what a great set of teeth should look like.

On to the ears.................it is important to check our ears every so often. Sometimes us canines, that have the ears that flop over, can get ear infections. It doesn't happen often but a preventative step would be for you humans to take a quick peak every once in awhile to see if there is "guck" in our ears. I like to let mine air out as you can see!

I'm so big now! I just keep growing and growing (like a good weed)!

I've heard my brother has found his forever home with those nice people who came to visit us! I hope he gets to be adopted(my paws are crossed). I am so happy for him!

My foster mommy said I was a silly puppy because I learned how to get out of the yard but she wasn't too upset because I came straight to the front dor and asked for her to let us in! We were bored outside and wanted to do somthing different.

MY foster mommy says when it's warm outside again we can go to the dog park! I've never been! I'm so excited!

I also let my brother, Sydney, chew my collar off so I need a new one (I don't think it was the right shade for my beautiful coat anyway). Foster Mom wasn't too happy with that and she said we need our collars on to keep us safe! It has our phone numbers on there incase we ever get lost.

I'm Barlow I have a brother and a foster sister. I'm a very energtic boy - - I love to run and play in the backyard. My most favorite thing in this dog world is to wrestle with my siblings.

I am very loveable and fun to be around (just ask Sydney - of course don't ask if I have got him in trouble!) I have to admit that I really like to try and sneak in chewing socks or getting into things I know I shouldn't like the garbages (nothing like a good game of shredding).
I am learning though that it's not O.K. with humans. These humans have so many "rules" - - - they sometimes take all the fun out of being a crazy puppy.

I can sit on command and I can almost shake a paw everytime I am requested! I really love to do it for treats so this helps with my training.

My foster mom says I am so curious because if I smell something on the counter I have to see if it's food. Apparently one of the "human rules" is no paws on the counter............sheesh!
I potty outside all the time now! I am getting so mature (of I luv that word)! Foster mom gives us a good scratch when we come in. She's so happy for us to be learning so fast!

I will be a big and tall guy when I am fully matured.

Must Run! I hear Sydney calling for a game of tug-o-war.
